NIX, INC. recognizes the importance of global environmental preservation. With the help of precision engineering, we will contribute significantly to caring for the planet at every step of our development process, whether it be design, manufacturing, or sales.
The Global Goals
In 2015 the United Nations created the Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals), as a worldwide call to action to protect the planet, end poverty, and ensure all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. In order to contribute it’s share, NIX has decided to implement the below measures, we understand a simple person might not make a huge difference but a complete company may be able to pitch in more to ensure the world is in better shape with every day that passes.

Reuse (product reuse)
- Development of removable products

Recycle (reuse of materials)
- Product development using thermoplastics resins (as of fiscal year 2018)
- Product development using 100% recycled runners
- Excess runners are sorted by material and collected
Refuse
- Refrain from using disposable plastic tableware at company social gatherings, etc.
- Use of bamboo thinning files
Environmental Policy
While complying with environmental laws and regulations, as well as other requirements, we will strive to continuously prevent pollution, work to address the environmental impact of products, eliminate the use of substances that burden the environment, and strive to curb global warming in an effort to preserve the global environment.
Taking into account technological and economic circumstances, we conduct an assessment of the environmental impact of our manufacturing and commercial activities. We are strongly committed to the following activities:
1. Promoting measures that improve both quality and productivity.
2. Submitting proposals regarding product performance improvement, recycling, space reduction, and component standardization.
3. Seeking improvements in design efficiency.
4. Promoting local sourcing.
We will implement a management system, set objectives and targets, conduct continuous reviews, and implement improvements. We will ensure that all people working at or with NIX are aware of our global environmental preservation activities and will proactively carry out educational activities aimed at improving environmental awareness and knowledge of this policy. Through the participation of all staff, each of us will strive to realize this environmental philosophy.
